Meet our Conductor

Richard F. Wong received his B.A. in Music at U.C. Berkeley, and his teaching credential and M.A. in Music at CSU, Hayward. In addition to teaching at the high school level, he has taught elementary band through the Fremont Education Foundation and remains active as a performer, clinician, and as a lifelong learner.

  • Tuesday, November 11, 2025 – Redwood City Veteran’s Day Concert at Redwood City Courthouse Square, a part of the Redwood City Veteran’s Day Celebration
  • Saturday, December 13, 2025 – Winter Concert, NMHS Theatre @ 7:00 PM, sponsored by Fremont Bank Foundation

  • Saturday, March 21, 2026 – Spring Concert, NMHS Theatre @ 7:00 PM, sponsored by Fremont Bank Foundation

All rehearsals are held at the Newark Memorial High School band room. Anybody is welcome to join the NSW! We accept members throughout the year.
